NDIS Occupational Therapy Functional Capacity Assessment (psychosocial/mental health only)

Our highly experienced mental health occupational therapist is available for Mental Health Functional Capacity Assessments to support your NDIS plan reviews. A functional assessment can be a helpful process to document in detail, how your illness impacts on your life, and the things you want and need to do. It can also help identify the supports that can help you reach your goals.

We provide assessments for people who are seeking psychosocial supports (mental health) from the NDIS. We do not provide physical health or home modification assessment or recommendations.

We offer functional assessment and/or therapeutic support, completed either at an office space in Wodonga, home visit, or via telehealth where you can stay within the comfort of your own home. All you need is access to the internet, and a computer or other device with a camera.

Assessments typically take 1-2 hours, with 4-6 hours report writing. Assessments can be broken up into smaller sessions if this is required to support participation. Reports will be released on payment of invoice for work completed.

Sensory Modulation Assessment

Mental Health Sensory Profile Assessments assist with understanding and regulating emotions and developing coping strategies. We experience our world through our senses, and these sensory experiences can impact on how we feel, think and behave. Sensory Assessments can provide information on how sensations are processed. This is very individual and can vary between the senses.

Having a greater understanding of your own patterns can support improved focus, productivity and participation in activities such as work, study, relationships, parenting and hobbies. It can assist us to manage intense emotions, understand environmental triggers and emotional responses, along with provide tailored options for calming and grounding techniques.

Sensory Assessments typically take 1-2 hours, with 2-3 hours reports. Reports will be released on payment of invoice for work completed.
